This is another great book by Beverly Lewis. She does a great job at drawing you into the book and making you fall in love with the characters.
Eva Esch and her sisters find themselves wondering what's going to happen to them after both their parents die and their brother plans to move him and his family into the home. There won't be enough room for all of them. While Eva is courting someone at the time, she can't see herself getting married to him.
One night in the middle of the night, her youngest sister Lily runs away. They fear she has an English boyfriend and don't know where to look for her. They know Lily's best friend is hiding something but what could it be?
While Eva is worried for her sister a young apprentice buggy maker shows up in her home town. Eva and Jed meet and start to fall for each other. When Jed get ready to leave to go back home, Eva sees a photograph that he has. What is it? What will happen between Jed and Eva?
Beverly Lewis has written another great book. It was all I could do to keep from filling to the last chapter to see if Jed and Eva ever get married and if Lilly ever comes home! You feel for the characters and the aches you feel for them. You long to see Jed and Eva together, but the closer you get to the end of the book, the more you wonder if it will ever happen!
Through out the book the both Jed and Eva grow in their understanding of God and learn to turn to him when things are difficult.
I received this book from Bethany House Publishers and Baker Group for the sole purpose of this review. I was not required to write a positive review. The opinions I have expressed are entirely my own.
